this is my 130th post. this calls for a celebration. bring in the food man. (the foodman. i think i'd marry one next time. if my tummy had a mouth, it'd be grinning now. ) anyways. stepped into civilisation today after decades in my cave. the smell of vivo's air is just so refreshing. my goodness. i just filled my lungs with the glorious essence of retail air, made all the more fresh with its emptiness and lack of human scents (and jostles). i was going to burst into song when col called to ask where i was. (i was, lo and behold, already in zara. kids section. no surprise, ladies and gentlemen. i tell u, sometimes them kids have nicer clothes. you just have to look for the largest size.) so we ate at carls junior, where we were served by really frenly staff, though the one at the counter who looks like a rabbit was barely comprehensible. (he spoke too fast). we watched meet the robinson's , which was pretty good actually, before shopping a bit and deciding to head off to far east. ah, here comes the good and not-so-good part. the good part is, col drove here. a fren with a car always adds 5 cookie points to value of frenship. (kidding) and well, the not-so-good part is, she dint really know the way there. which subtracts about 2 cookie points. but anyhow, she called for help and we finally reached our destination. so i shopped till i had about 2 bucks left in cash in my wallet. and i even forgot to pay col for lunch! it wasnt intentional, i promise. REALLY.
i promised myself i wun let my eyeballs near any computer for at least 3 days after my exams, after having stared at it everyday for the past term. so what am i doing here. oh yes. i just helped my dad file his taxes.
so it's the hols. i'm gonna spend time reading--i've got paul coelho's the zahir on my shelf, bought because borders had a 40 percent discount the other time and it was the last day so i just asked my sis to pick anything...i was stuck at home, obviously. trying to rush some deadline, i think. i'm gonna draw, mayb paint again. spend time thinking, of what i really envision my future to be like. you know how people always ask, what do you want to be next time? i hate that kind of questions. i just do. and i hate to explain myself. why do you do that? why do you choose that? really? is that why you chose that? are you sure that's what you really want? WALAO EH. (pardon the outburst) i'd rather ask those who have chosen their path, are you happy doing what you're doing? if yes, that's it, end of questions. i know God will lead me down a path that will suit His great purposes, that i won't ever regret taking. that i will be happy. it sounds so far off, so ideal, you say. but that's what i choose to believe in. don't ask me why. if u do.......i just might get...a little ungentle. haha.
muscle woman just walked behind me. my dajie la. she has just trumped me to be the heaviest lady in the family. (by a mere 0.2kg) dang it. my throne usurped right under my nose. my erjie...is just made of skin. (she thinks she's gong li) oh but she's passed her driving!! now she's got her licence to kill. drive, sorry. but fortunately for all singlish-spouting mankind, no one's gonna lend her their cars to drive. (not my parents anw)so our streets are safe for the time being. we tried to stall time, i promise. but the fourth and last instructor had so much compassion. 14 points!
alright. i shall scoot along. ciao.
